This morning, one of our neighbor's cats was prowling around our yard. Since Lola was nearby, I picked her up to let her see, since she's been curious in the past when she's seen another cat outside. Today, she turned into a guard cat when she saw the other cat. She was all aquiver and literally started growling. It was one of the funniest things I ( Read more... )

Then, once Lola had hopped off the box in search of other entertainment, Luna made an appearance. She's my original Halloween decoration and has worked her way into various Halloween decorations over the years.

I pulled out the box of Halloween decorations today, since I was lazy and didn't get around to it this weekend. Almost as soon as I had pulled out the box (it's big!), Lola had hopped up onto it and settled in. I guess she was trying to tell me that a black cat is the only Halloween decoration one really needs.
