When I went to Holland, just about everybody spoke English. I don't know if that was because I was mostly around the Hague and Amsterdam or what, but it was not tough to get around at all. I'm kind of counting on the fact that so many Dutch do seem to speak English. At least for the first few months until I can get a bit more comfortable with speaking it. Maybe all that French I studied in high school and college will come back to me eventually, as well.
