This is the biggest bunch of male-ego stroking bullshit I've ever read about: Do Loose Chicks Sink Dicks? Basically, the gist of the article is that a Washington Post article found that college dudes can't get it up....when girls want to have sex with them ( Read more... )

or maybe some dicks are smarter than dudes,
trying to send the message "you don't really wanna sleep with her."

The person writing the Salon article rebutting the original arguement, actually points that out. But the Washington Post article seems to think that it's really because women are as likely to have sex as men (generally speaking)and they've taken away "the erotic power of the chase."

that's bullshit.

a woman's "erotic power" isn't in the chase.
i mean it can be - but it doesn't have to be.

then again, we are talking about normie college dudes,
who may only be getting off on the idea of victory and conquer-ship.

Yeah I think the "victory and conquer-ship" is exactly the case.

It's sad to admit that i'm losing my sex drive. I'm just not as obsessed as i was at like 18. I mean, to go from thinking about sex 95% of the day to like 80%.

Internet porn is good but getting old. I can only watch someone come on someone's face, tits, or ass like 100 million times.

Not that I'm, like, representative of the male species at large, but for me, personally, the thrill of the chase, so to speak, is a lot more of a turn on than actually doing the deed. So, like, that's weird, right?

Nooooo, not weird. I think that's true for a lot of people. What is weird is blaming women for wanting to have sex for a lack of hard on. I think it has more to do with a lot of other factors, than just women giving it up, more than even the article goes into.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd blame women for not being able to get it up, although when a girl comes on too strong, it's not usually a turn-on (although that really depends).

But yeah, there are myriad other factors involved and if we were to get involved in a discussion about the science of boners we'd probably be here a while.
