So. Awesome.

I love how you sketch John's relationships with everyone, and as has been mentioned before, the coydog metaphor is perfect. Especially liked Kyle's reaction to it: felt very in-character.

My favorite bit was this:

Or maybe Kyle can feel it, that they’re all tangled up in this mess together so completely that none of them can ever be extricated, that it’s a foregone conclusion that Kyle will travel through time, find Sarah Connor and love her enough to die for her.

That's it. Right there. I am a total subscriber to this interpretation of the mythos. It doesn't matter how much changes, certain core things will always loop back.

Oh glad to see the finished version! Yes, I too adore the coydog metaphor, it is so bloody perfect. I love it.

And I love your set up here, of John being with the few people who will believe him, and it being the time travel facility that they encounter. I'd really love to see a continuation of this. I really enjoyed how you painted this version of the future. And I'm really curious to see what explanation he gives them about his experience with time travel. *grin*

This is awesome. I love this little vignette into John's place with the resistance: how he fits and how he is different and all that he knows and how those that count realize that while he might not have some sense or know some things, he does know other things that are valuable. Lovely metaphor for John as a coydog and Navarro's explanation of it. Of course, I hope you do more with this as it seems poised for more.
