Just wanted to say... am not too fond of Pipettes, but it's not their fault. It's just me. I don't like women in music that much. LOL There's only a couple of bands with female vocalists I listen to, and Regina Spektor, of course. But Regina doesn't count. She's just Regina, you know. She's special. :D
Having said that... thanks for the song. I downloaded it, for the inspiration I'll obviously need. And the pic is very good to work with as well. Lovely colors. So I won't be using the skip. :P
hehe. well, as of recently i didn't listen to any kind of female vocalists music AT all, but now (for some reason) i've been listening to the pipettes a bit (though they're not my favourites) and also juliette & the licks and some blondie. and there's also this estonian band with a female singer (called agent m) that makes the best indie disco.
but yeah, i had to choose between this pic and another one, and i really liked this, because it has such pretty colors and it's so bright in a way and nice =)

a bit of both actually. but they sound more convincing in estonian (she's got a small accent).. you know what, they have this song, one version of it is in estonian, the other is in english, i'll upload it for you and you can listen to them yourself =) agent m- shokolaad- the estonian version, titled 'shokolaad' or 'chocolate' in english. it's pretty much about like people not being happy about who they are and that they should just accept it and not try to run away. agent m- perfect world- the english version of the same song. from what i know, this was the original version of this song and it was translated to estonian. the meaning is a bit different, but not that much =) oh, and as an added bonus, here's a picture of them- HERE just so you'd know who you're listening to =P
oh.. and now you must think i'm crazy, but they actually made a video for that song as well (it's animated, but cute) and if you want to watch it, it's HERE (let me know, if the link doesn't work or something..and don't worry, if you don't like it. i mean i just
