So, D.C. was phenomenal!
Awesome things that happened/I did:

-Got Lost, by myself in a foreign city and found my own way back
-Went to the Holocaust Museum, and got to see what I read about
-Bought a Mezuzah, thought it was one for a house.. it's actually for a car and has a traveler's prayer which is even better!
-Saw Everything Is ( Read more... )

I really did love D.C. It was my first time there, and I'm glad that I got to go when I'm of an age where I could feel the city out for myself in a way. I live close-ish to New York City, and go there somewhat frequently, there is just a completely different feel to D.C. when compared with New York.
I loved the metro, from the station design to the really really nice people who helped me out. (There were quite a few of them.)
I really can't wait to go back again, hopefully it's soon.

I live south in Virginia and DC has always just been a short drive or train ride from home. We always went there on school trips. I go to concerts and whatnot. It's a big city like NY, but has a very different feel because it's not a land of skyscrapers. Things are spread out and open. People down here tend to be very nice. I'm so glad you had a good time!
