Desperate times...

Quick question. Which story did Bertie say something along the lines of:

"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Jeeves! Pour Mr. Glossop a desperate measure."

The wording is probably inaccurate and it may or may not have been Glossop that had come to Bertie for aid.

I believe the phrase has been used in more than one story, but the use I recall is, I'm pretty sure, in The Code of the Woosters.

...Or perhaps in Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves? I've reread both recently and I'm all muddled now. :\

Thanks!

I know what you mean. I also have some trouble keeping the stories and their respective players straight. I sit down to read one story, but then I end up reading... well, a bit more than one.

That's actually from the final episode of the tv series. Bertie was trying to convince Tuppy to sneak into Lady Florence's room and retrieve the Jr. Ganymede Club book.
