I am probably doing this the wrong way, but when I saw you mention Regency Era my mind just went straight to a fic I read before. I was pretty sure I've got it somewhere but could not find it now. If anyone could give some clue I would be eternally grateful and I think realm_of_ylith would thank you too!

I thought it's a kink_meme fill or something like that, apprently might have been a Mills & Boons romantic novel story turn Inception muse... but pretty sure the fic I read was on the author's LJ.

Arthur is Ariadne's tutor/protector, Ariadne is a noble lady engaged to and about to marry to Cobb. Lord Eames holds a grudge against Cobb (he blaims Cobb for his sister Mal's death) and plans to kidnap Ariadne. Eames' men kidnap Arthur by mistake. Eames ransoms Ariadne to come to his place in exchange for Arthur.
