4th Trace - [Action post]

[Walking outside in the rain with only an umbrella to shield him from the elements, Shirou continued to walk aimlessly around the town as if he were lost-- or looking for something. Or someone. Still, whatever the case is, he was pretty far from his house by now so he kept on going.]

Geh! This rain isn't going to let up any time soon after all. I ( Read more... )

[Shiki had been staring out the window most of the storm. I mean, what else was there to do? Suddenly that familiar figure walks across his eyesight. Shiki can't help but run and open the front door.]

W-What are you doing out there? Are you a moron? Get over here and dry off!

[Shirou's head snapped to the direction to where the familiar voice was coming from. At first he was confused on why Tohno would call someone a moron for out in the open like that, but that was when he realized that it was Shirou himself being called that. Of course he didn't take it well at first but the cold rain hitting against the legging of his pants reminded him where he is at and what he is doing.]

Hey. Before you start saying things like that, at least listen to others first when you ask your first question instead of calling people names without knowing the reason why like a moron.

And I'm out here for many reasons, Tohno. This weather isn't going to let up anytime soon so I might as well do what I need to do now and get it over with.

[This guy-]

You really are a moron, aren't you? At least get over here and dry off. If the rain isn't going anywhere, neither is the places you're going to visit.

[His face shown a more serious expression after hearing that, but instead of accepting Shiki's offer after hearing something that made sense to anyone, Shirou shook his head and still stood where he was at without budging an inch.]

Sorry, but I can't... it's true that places won't be going anywhere, but a person could be. I'm aiming to find that person. This isn't someone that I can allow be running around with the possibility of harming others. That is my main reason out here... I'm just doing other tasks also because I can take care of them all at once.

[You mean he won't get scolded by someone yelling out from the door or a window? Because he isn't going back home until night time.]

-What's that in the distance? A figure in a hooded rain coat, the coat and their scarf billowing in the wind? Well it's May Lee and she looks like she's thinking about something.-

[Like a welcome sight for sore eyes, since out of all of her possessions, her red scarf was one of the more memorable things Shirou had noticed about her. He rose his free hand into the air to greet the girl coming his way if she were to notice him and forming a bright smile on his face.]

Yo, Lee-san. You are out here doing patrols too, huh?

Yep. People get into all kinds of trouble in bad weather.

Yeah, I thought the same thing too and doing something else long the side also.

By chance, have you noticed anything strange or different around town since the fire incident?

[Ange herself was heading home in a rain coat unfazed by the thunder really. At first, she did not take any notice to the person she was walking pass, but after making a double take--]

... Huh? Emiya-san?

Mn?

[Turning around to see who it was that called for him. The familiar flash of red hair caught his attention more than him noticing who it was right off the bat, but replied to her as if nothing was out of the ordinary at all.]

Ah. Fancy meeting you here, Ushiromiya. I didn't expect to see you so soon again.

[Her face immediately became a scowl from that response. What kind of guy would talk to her in this situation as if it were a sunny day right now?]

You. Why are you out here, anyway? Do you want to catch your death?

[Uh-oh. Just greeted her and already she seems upset. This already reminded him of his encounter with Tohsaka in the school when the Grail War was taking place... could she be another Tohsaka Rin? Regardless of what the issue was, Shirou rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand ]

Eh? I'm just out doing errands and other things. What are you doing out here? You might catch a cold if you stay out here for too long, Ushiromiya.

[Something flew out of her house, and Ema is running out to chase it. She may or may not bump into you. D:]

[Seeing that Shirou himself is too busy looking around to the sides in attempt to find this possible perp and not in front of him, a full on head collision will be had between the two. That forcing Shirou to stagger back two steps, slip on a a slick of water while stepping back only to drop down as well as dropping his umbrella. ]

Hagh! Ow! Jeez that's smarts...

[Because Ema is the most graceful person ever, not. She too mimics his actions at their collision. Ema trips over herself and lands quite 'gracefully' on her bum. O-Owww.]

H-Hey! Watch where you're going... T-That hurts... O-Ow...!

[She doesn't see who it is!]

Stupid rain.

[While Shirou himself has comments about her running into people, he paused for a split second after he realized who it was that he bumped into.]

Sorry, Detective. I'll try to be more careful next time, you're not hurt are you?

[Now pushing himself back up and rubbing his rear from the hard impact he made when he fell that's now sore and wet, but then moved it to reach over to grab his umbrella and his free hand over to her to help her get back up on her feet.]

You can still walk, right?
