It's not the same illness, but this reminds me of The Song of Bernadette. She always smiled and was quiet and prayerful despite the cancer eating at the bones in her leg.

Just so you know, I for one am interested in knowing all that happens in your life - good and bad. Also, I know it's really bad to have such intense flare ups, but given that they occur, I admire it very much when you show strength and positivity in the face of them.

You are an amazing man. Thank you for the nice comments. It is not always easy to be positive, but I know I have to stay that way to be an example for my children.
