When Susan finally arrived back in Fandom via a portal that had taken its sweet time getting where it needed to be, she hadn't needed to worry about getting her belongings from the tent and move them to her room. That yowling from underneath Britta's bed was coming from Susie B, who had been surly and sulking underneath it mostly all day, and now seemed to be passed her breaking point now that there was a bird allowed into the room. She came stalking out, crouched low, tail flickering, and started chittering at it in what she thought was a threatening way.

Of course, Susie B was not stupid, just extremely tempermental, and so she didn't go as far to try and attack the bird as long as it was in the room, but she did plan on making a big fuss about it while she could.

"Not for eating," Susan said sternly, just in case.

The bird, meanwhile, hopped farther back on a desk to try and stay out of sight. Not a lot of places to go in a dorm room.

Susie B looked at Susan and let out a sound (it wasn't exactly a meow, and it wasn't exactly a yowl, but perhaps somewhere in between. A meyowl, if you'd like), followed by a plaintive expression that seemed to ask that if birds weren't for eating, then what good were they?

She paused.

"Though that apparently doesn't stop me from speaking to one..."
