Yesterday was a Good day. I finally braved the horrors of Ilford High Street at Christmas and managed to find the presents I needed - in practically deserted shops. I know I used to shop at weekends for Christmas which are traditionally heaving, but even so, this year people really are either cutting down or relying entirely on internet shopping

Fortunately (1) Lil's camera ran out of charge and (2) we were moving too fast for her to photograph anyway.
