My sister gave me a LeKue bread maker for Christmas - at my request as I'd seen rave reviews and am a Lakeland addict. After one day without his bandage Draco managed (by dint of Too Much Exercise and Licking) to re-open the cut on his paw, so it was back to the Vet for a new bandage.

I thought the nurse was taking a long time but assumed that he was playing her up.

But she was just being festive...

Yesterday was a Good day. I finally braved the horrors of Ilford High Street at Christmas and managed to find the presents I needed - in practically deserted shops. I know I used to shop at weekends for Christmas which are traditionally heaving, but even so, this year people really are either cutting down or relying entirely on internet shopping ( Read more... )

Yesterday's visit to the supermarket netted the Deathly Hallows 2 DVD (discounted to £7 for spending far too much on food and clothes), so we watched that last night and I ran through the extras this morning, and there will be a review in due course.
