Thoughts on our US Trip

I consider myself fairly well traveled. I am by no means a jet-setter, but I've been around, in my lifetime, I've been around South East Asia, Australia and Europe. Which is probably why people are always surprised when I tell them I've never been to the States. It's almost ironic, given that most Filipinos first destination abroad is the US. Well

Here's Another "Thought"

When traveling in the US and staying mostly with relatives and friends, you don't have to bring lots of clothes cos they usually have washing machines and dryers. So you only need enough clothes for your longest stay in one location, plus of course cold weather clothes if it's winter.

Since most of our stops are so short, time would be wasted doing laundry. Mike brought enough clothes for 2 weeks and did zero laundry. I brought enough for a little over 1 week. Tapos I did laundry once, in LA, on the wedding weekend. And also I wore some of the clothes I bought there. :-)
