I have to tell you that I have only the vaguest idea of who these guys are, mainly because I fail, but the atmosphere in this is really clear. I love getting a picture of what is happening, what's in the room, and I think you've brought that out to me really well.

I am going to die thinking of Jesse Lacey humping a pinball machine. No matter how drawn-out or sudden the death is, that'll be there, right in my head, behind my eyelids. Oh my god.

But anyway. I adored this, through and through. Thinking of them in such a juvenile setting seemed ridiculously appropriate and the characterization was ridiculously great, both on a serious and comical level. And nn. so, there's not nearly enough long island fics imo and i'm usually okay with it because, well, if this fandom gets muddled down by the shit that's in other fandoms, i'll cry.
