I ain't sure how all this is gonna work out.

You know, I've been thinking.

I could go for a happy story right about now. Any of you folks know any tales with a happy ending that you might be willing to share around the campfire? Or maybe just with an old cowpoke? Might liven this place up some to hear something upbeat for a change.

Anyone else hankerin' for steak like I am? Seems like it's been forever since I had one, even from the cows around here and that isn't even proper steak. Been thinking about it a lot lately, and I reckon I can't be the only one, what with the Fourth of July almost upon us.

Weather's been nice lately. Then again, after that winter we had, don't think it would take much to be nice. All this sunlight makes me want to hit the trails and go for a ride on my steed. Things are a bit lonelier around here these days. At least spring's on its way. Though from what I heard from the last of these, Summer ain't no picnic itself. Guess that's just how things are 'round these parts. Hopefully there won't be any volcanoes or snow this summer, but something tells me that might be a bit much to ask for ( Read more... )
