Gorgeous as always. I envy your style - descriptive and heady (you write B/S needy sex very well) without being florid or overwrought. And the bit about how Brenda's boredom was a riot, especially the line about nougat and linen.

holy. shit. this whole thing was just so perfectly well done, and the buildup from each little vignette to the next one was so well paced and thought out, and it's just... the feelings are palpable, and your writing is absurdly lovely. definitely one of my favorites.

*oh the ANGST. i was all emo earlier and I was curled up on my bed reading this fic on my phone and I thought you might be trying to kill us with the emotions...but oh it was so well-balanced and so perfect for this story.
*Devastated Sharon broke my heart...and those parts were so sad and so painful to read. I loved it though that she called Brenda to be there for her, and the AWKWARD as fuck part with Robert. And I love that Brenda went to the funeral anyway. That was perfect.
*And I loved when they decided to date each other...and I loved Brenda's sexy phone flirting and Sharon freaking out and the two of them finding a way to work it all out to be with each other.

Basically...I loved this whole story, and how it was original and unique and smart.

You need to always write ALL THE THINGS.
