Had you told us before this section that Lucius was felled by a cold? That is too cruel, and I think Harry earned his laughter after the way Lucius treated him.

Severus was IC nasty to Harry. Not very Slytherin of him was it after all the bragging to Minerva about how Slytherin he is and his worrying about not having a powerful defender left? He really doesn't know Harry at all, does he? I always enjoy those parts of stories where Severus comes to realize just how wrong he was. I know you'll do a great job at that.

Regarding Lucius: Yes, that was in the section where he was taken, with Narcissa, to the hospital wing. Not only was he felled by a muggle cold, but he was allergic to one of the ingredients of the herbal rememdy Poppy used to help him, which made him loopy.

Regarding Severus: No, he really doesn't know Harry. Glad you felt him in character here! I have written a scene where Severus learns who Harry is, but that was well before I got going on this story, and it probably needs quite a bit of rewrite.
