So much sadness for Harry - but if George can laugh, maybe all will be well. His first interaction with Draco should interesting...and I'm looking forward to more Andromeda. I like the way she's become a mentor for Harry at the same time he's become a godfather to Teddy.

Thanks for commenting, both here and beforehand. Not sure I'd have the courage to keep posting without your beta reading!

I love to hear the things you get out of the story, and look forward to. Your comments give me a new view to the story, and inspire me to write more!

So much loss and sadness, but with such beauty underlying it all. I felt for Harry as he did his duty to Colin and wished he could have done it better. And I'm glad that your George is bouncing back a little bit more than many portrayals of him show. And Arthur was just perfect here--also doing his duty to Harry through his sadness because he loves Harry. I, too, can't wait for the next chapter.

Thank you!

I wasn't quite sure of that chapter, especially because I had written it long enough ago that it was too familiar. (Betas are great for that!) I usually like to have more dialog, but the mood didn't suit it. I'm glad it worked for you.

Glad you liked Arthur. I had written that scene and moved it around in the story, but it didn't click until I got to this chapter. I knew I had to keep the scene.

George... well, I'm not telling.

*authorial smirk*

as for the next chapter... I can't wait to find out what happens! (ornery characters!)

Aw, wish someone would tell Harry that what he's feeling (not feeling) is normal!

I'm so glad you feel that. Harry's emotions really are all over the place, and yet underlying it is this numbness. It is hard to write, because it feels a bit chaotic, or disorganized... Glad it works for you.
