I'm so happy to see another chapter of this story. Complex and well-written as always. You're really good at moving between characters without simply rehashing the same events from different perspectives. Instead, it's almost as if your characters are living in parallel worlds which barely interact with one another - and this builds a nice tension for the moment when their different perspectives will coalesce (ie Snape and Harry will meet, Draco and Harry will actually interact with one another rather than suspiciously working at cross-purposes). In this context, I think the way in which you keep most of your characters, including Hermione, separated from each other works well. Can't wait for the next installment!

Oh! I like how you see this. And here I thought I was just not very good at crowds! Actually, I will have to challenge myself with a crowd soon (Poor Harry).

But yes, I am intentionally weaving plot threads together until such a point where they coalesce, with combined influences from all the different storylines. We'll see if I am talented enough to carry it off. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the comment!

And will Draco and Harry be able to work together? They both continue to make things harder between them.

Well, it wouldn't be much of a story if it were easy! (Grin)

But yes, there will be further complications, and a few things that aid them... and some of these will be the same thing.

Thanks for reading!

Happy dance time! This chapter had a deep, somewhat drowsy feel, even though Harry blew up a room. It fit the end of the chapter with Harry thinking about summer time. Some pivotal things happened in this chapter and Harry now has proof that there is more to magic than what he was taught. I loved the symbolism at the end of the dark and the light dancing. I haven't really been missing anyone, except maybe Luna and here she was in this chapter. I adore Luna and I think you did a good job with her. I would rather see Luna than Hermione personally. I think Hermione may have done her most important duty plotwise when she gave Harry her blessing and encouragement to learn from Draco. ;-) I am eager to see Harry and Draco and Harry and Severus coming to an understanding of each other. I hate when they continue to hold to stereotypes and I'm glad we are getting to the point where they can begin to leave those behind ( ... )

Another great chapter as always! Well about what I enjoy the most and look forward to is two things mostly. One, the interactions between Slytherins; I always thought they characters in the books were too shallow and unrealistic, so I love what you are doing here with them, giving them layers of personality, their drive, their worldview. Second, I love when you go into explanations of magical culture, providing a more complex view of the wizarding world, what has being kept, knowledge that is being lost... I really, really hope you get the inspiration to move forward with the story, it honestly one of the best WIP currently out there!! I give you my best.
