So I went to look at the possible new apt and it turns out that it's not in the building that I thought it was. It was across the street. The building I'd seen and toured before has these gorgeous lofts and it's just a fantastic building. The one that I looked at last night is well beyond it's poor relation. It's a slum.

Oh dear. I'm sorry the building ended up being bad, because I had high hopes you'd get away from Thing 1!!

I am sure that he will have a different story or different slant on each story depending on what he is trying to get other people (you) to do. In my first career in computers I worked with a few people from India and mid-east cultures. The have a different idea of telling the truth sometimes. I don't mean that rudely. I am not sure that we have being honest down, here in the west either. In fact I have a good friend who tells a different story often. And has done far more in their life according to story, than could have actually happened. I have decided to just let it go and enjoy the changing story. But I don't live with them. MoonRose you are coping so well. I am amazed.

And though I kind of hate living with people - even my kid sometimes - I find my brain & other CNS (formerly called Mental Illness, but it is part of my physical body!!!) issues bloom when I live alone.

And I love reading about THE THINGS on your posts. Ver amusing.

Yeah, it occurred to me that kids his age often lie and manipulate whatever their country of origin, but I do think that our culture is more up-front. I think that's a good word for it. Sometimes I get the feeling that I'm too blunt, in other words, and it bothers Thing 1. And of course he's a bit too fluid, and that bothers me [Thing 3]. hehe ( ... )

I'm sorry the new place was made of suck. But at least you checked it out. I think you have a great outlook on the whole situation and eventually you really could make your room more your own sanctuary. It would be nice if Thing 1 found a job that kept him out often. lol

Thanks, luv. I actually looked at a place downtown close to my bank when I was doing a deposit earlier that sells futons and other furniture and found some nice stuff that wasn't too expensive. It'll have to happen slowly, but it'll happen. :) *hugs*

Do you want to come and live on the other side of my dark, stormy island? XD It would be like Glenda and the Wicked Witch of the West. hehe [you can be glenda, if you like..]
