The first time I saw the name of that shop, I couldn't stop laughing for ages.

Does the excerpt sum up the book itself? ^^

Photo comment time:

1. Gashapon in Singapore cost around S$4-6 usually. How much was it there?

2. That model isn't even Asian. That's just... weird...

3-5. Board game cafes have all but disappeared this side of the causeway.

6. Cook your own at home ^^

7. Over here, police move so quickly that places that sell pirated stuff can't stay in one place for long (less than 1 week). I like original though. Prices always drop after a while.

8. Popular is actually from Singapore. XDDD So you can't call it "local".

11. The typical playground in Singapore look similar too! Maybe playgrounds all over the world will begin to look like that soon...

13. The Print Station's logo is cute~

14. I only noticed the Savemart when I read your note ^^

15. I see KFC in the background~~~ I haven't eaten it in ages...

16. We used to have many 1.99 Shops here. Now we have a couple of Daiso, where everything is $2.

Zomg! What a comment! Long time no hear, and it's always good to hear from you. :)

No, the excerpt does not sum up the book. It's just that that part really made me laugh!

1. Gashapons here cost between RM4 and RM16, with the majority of them being RM8. I think it's about the same as over there!

2. I really want to take a picture of Sunway Pyramid from the outside just to see peoples' reactions.

3-5. I only know of two here! And they're fairly new places too. So hope that they stick around.

6. Good idea!

7. Most dense commercial areas have stopped selling pirated software. They still do exist, though you need to know where to look for them. (Pasar malam etc..)

8. Singapore, Malaysia same only la~~~~

13. There's this other shop I saw called Printz Charming with a picture of a bunny on it. But it's a bit far to go to just to get a picture. XD

14. Hence the note! XD

15. KFC here has wireless! Really surprised me when I came back.

I have nothing else to do =P

Eh, Singapore & Malaysia very different okay?

I dunno about KFC, but I think McDonald's has wireless. At least, I know of one place that deffo has it.

Ahhh, Imman, your photos make me laugh. XD I'll comment here since have some stuffs to comment to wynter_myst as well..
1. Why are gashapon so expensive in SG?!?! I still find it ironic I never got into anime/manga in Sg, (though now I'm more of an anime/manga hermit here in Sydney ._.), but then now I look around and see all these..Singaporean animebloggers..
2. Ah, used to stuff like that in Sydney. Except with the 'weird pose' thing and less of the 'Asian' thing. I think it's a nice picture, though...
3-5. Only one I see here is that one near Town Hall...uh...forgot the name. >.> Some Korean place.
8. Aha! I knew Popular was from SG! I'd actually read the text before I saw the picture, so for a moment I thought there really was an Opular... ._.
11. Yup. My theory = all playgrounds look similar. XD
16. Still have Hot Dollar/Roni's/etc here, which don't really sell stuff at a dollar each but still rather cheap. -wry-

Also...hahaha at the Optical places. XD
