[He's been contemplating something since shortly after his arrival, and it's been bugging him. The majority opinion of this in Luceti doesn't particularly matter to him, but you can just say he's curious about how it holds up for the people here. And by that, he's thinking about family values. It's important to a Rogue and he could assume that ( Read more... )

I'd do anything for my family except let Raph have the last of the cocoa puffs.

[Okay. He's not sure what he meant by that exception, but he's going to go on a whim and assume that this Raph is family to him.]

Is having the last of the... er, cocoa puffs that important to you? [Hi, he doesn't know what those are.]

Well, if it was a matter of life and death, I guess he could have 'em. But he stole mine so many times it's kinda justice, you know?

[Life and death? Stole? What are these cocoa puffs?]

How many times has he stolen it that it qualifies as justice, exactly?

[Oh hey, have another turtle.]

I would.

[Remington clearly brings all the turtles to the yard.]

Is that so? You wouldn't happen to be just saying that for the sake of saying it, would you?

[Totally.]

No. [He's completely serious. He'd do anything for his family. Especially protecting them.

Then your family is very important to you, yes? That's good to hear.

My family...I would do anything for her.

[Since the elder is his only kin.]

[It's not often that there's someone else who prowls Luceti at night. Remington goes undetected for quite awhile, and has flown under the radar until this point. It's only until by chance Batman catches him flinging his boomerang with intent to miss at a passerby does something alert him.

He'll be looking for the source, watching where the boomerang returns. And from the shadows unseen himself, stalk the Rogue until he prepares to do it again to another passerby.

After all... he's bound to do it again, right?]

[Indeed, he's bound to do it again. In fact, it only takes a mere few minutes before it attempts it once again, on another unsuspecting bystander. He's still not aiming for them, but around them. If anything, he's simply testing his aim.

If the boomerang hits, his aim needs improvement. And the person would probably need a doctor. But that's not his problem -- his aim is his problem.

Care to intervene?]

[Of course. An unfamiliar whoosh will sound out as Remington throws his boomerang, and before it can get close to the bystander is intercepted by another boomerang... or more properly, a batarang.]

[Remington freezes up for a moment. Someone caught sight of his weapon, and intercepted it. But how could they know unless they were following him and watching him do this? Was he being followed, and he didn't even realize until just now?

Something is horribly, horribly wrong with this picture. He doesn't move from his position, instead fixing his eyes upon where his weapon is going to end up landing.] What in the world?

I'm not sure if I could do anything, but I know someone who would.

It's good to hear that you know of someone who would. But why wouldn't you?

Anything encompasses a lot, and I know there's at least one thing I couldn't - wouldn't do.
