I gave him a thumbs-up when we went by. He waved coolly, as musicians do.

I love seeing surprising things.

They make me feel as if I have swallowed a small sun. I feel as if something has lodged itself deep in my gut, burning brightly and incessantly, trying to shine out through me- make itself known to the world.

Well, his car was overheating, and his battery wouldn't hold a charge, so we only pushed at twenty -minute intervals (to save battery power while we waited for his car to cool down again). I have a picture of us sitting on the car while it coasted down a hill, but it didn't turn out. :( In total, maybe.... half an hour? forty minutes? something like that? Yeah, I was glad too, BELIEVE ME! :)

lol, yeah- we thought so too. :)

Reid is so passive, it makes me wonder if he's truly Menno at heart. Perhaps my mother had a secret, torrid night of passion with a Menno man 22 years ago and Reid is the spawn of that.
