The first time I read this book I think I went into a bit of shock reading the ending. I think if I see the film I'll cry throughout the whole thing, knowing what's going to happen.

I knew beforehand because of spoilers (I don't even recall how I read them, considering I stray away from them at all costs), and I still cried a lot.
