I read the book so I saw this coming, but it still made me tear up. I remember when I read the book, I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I was so shocked. And this scene in the movie? It was so heartbreaking.

Oh my God this movie broke me. I knew what was coming once they started walking as a group, and I couldn't stop crying for about an hour after the credits rolled. It's just horrible on so many levels, and until now I can't quite believe that the Holocaust is real, that it's part of our history as human beings. It's disgusting.
