the high "feels like" temp. today is 89. what i want to know is where the hell fall went. it was so nice and chilly last week. my heat went on last week. i wore layers of clothing. i was happy and it was wonderful. i can't even open my windows more than a couple inches because i'm afraid of roxy and moxie falling out of my fourth floor apartment. i want to purchase a house soooo bad. there is no possible way for me to own a house in chicago because real estate prices are insane. the only way i could afford to buy a house is if i lived in a horrible neighborhood. maybe i should start saving for a down payment, so that when i move i can buy a house right away. it may sound like a really grown ( Read more... )

bucky is in PA right now. i'm a bit jealous. i'm having a good time in chicago, but there is something comforting in seeing familiar faces. i also want pancakes, but i don't really like cooking for one. it's way too much work when golean crunch would be a fine breakfast choice. maybe i will make extra and then freeze them?

buck and i have pretty much settled into our apartment and our schedules. our new ikea couch is being held together by duck tape, but other than that things are pretty sweet. we are both super busy with separate things during the week, but cooking and eating dinner together is pretty much a daily ritual. bucky has been putting effort towards trying ( Read more... )

my dad got laid off from work today.
my dad has another hernia.
my mom might have MS.
she gets the test results friday.
i move friday.
i really hope that she gets the results after i leave.
