We just went to see Cowboys & Aliens. What the hell was that? D: Why was the only character I gave a damn about the dog?

Oh dear, that sort of reaction is never good! (I'm no help, I haven't seen it.) I had that reaction to Elizabethtown. It was so bad that I actually don't remember whether we left or whether I was just so bored I don't remember the ending.

it's pretty much what it says on the tin. I liked it but it was definitely cheesy in parts.

So many people have raved about wanting to see this film while I watched the trailers and thought, "This looks silly."

I thought it looked silly too, but apparently I went in expecting to be at least mildly invested in character, which did not happen at all.

Haha, aww, I was watching the trailer yesterday and was pretty excited to see it. I'll have to lower my expectations!

The friends I was with enjoyed the heck out of it. For some reason I was just bored.

I thought it was awesome in a awesome-bad way. Explosions! Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford! Aliens! That was enough for me. :D

Yeah, that was my feeling too. It is a Saturday afternoon popcorn movie - requires little serious thought, has some eye candy and a requisite number of explosions. Plus Daniel Craig doing a hilarious Harrison Ford impression and my life is complete!

I think if it had been faster paced or had slightly more interesting characters I would have had fun with it, but UGH. I just could not get into it. I am no fun.

Cowboys and Aliens hasn't appealed to me at all. The title sounds fun, but the trailers? Meh.
