I finished something

I finished knitting a slouchy beret in ridiculously cheerful colors. I haven't finished knitting anything much since I knit a paper bag hat last winter. I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I might give it away to one of the baristas. I might keep it, which would be a first. I never keep anything I knit.

I like the hat - is that Kristen Kapur's "One-Day Beret"? I am on my 3rd one of those in about a week and a half. Ravelry is a bad time-suck for me; I log on and clickety-clickety-clickety and next think I know it's 3 hours later and I've saved 125 new patterns. Eep.

HEE! I know what you mean about pattern saving. :D And ravelry eating hours of my life.

It's Kim Hargreaves from an old Rowan pattern book my stepmom bought me with some Rowan Polar in a knitting shop in NY. She bought me the yarn to knit a sweater as a present.
