Sir, I have made mistakes since I have been here, and I am woman enough to admit them. But for some reason, people like to think that Turks = Elena, and for that, I needed to remind people what it is we do, and what it is we stand for.

I do feel shame for the past, but I strive to make it better. And I will continue to strive, even if I become some semblance of an ideal Turk, because this job is everything to me and I want everyone to be as proud of me as I am of them.

But, I do appreciate your words. Especially... especially since they come from you.

There was a small period of time where they weren't, and I'm ashamed for that. But I'm back. Completely. And it feels right.

Good point! Rough them up a bit with the EMR, because Shiva knows those shocks hurt like hell, then take them out completely with a standard issue. I like the way you think!

Well, that will hopefully be subject to change. Everyone's a critic... don't take their comments too much to heart. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the events that you speak of, but I'm proud of you - your ability to move on, to keep moving, and to never give up. And that, in the long run, is far more important than ever being knocked down in the first place.

You're a credit to the Turks, Elena. Don't ever forget that.

No, sir. It happened long before you came here.

It's different. People said stuff back on Gaia, but it was never that we were failures or disorganized and foolish. It wasn't the disrespect we have here. I don't care if people say things about me, sir, but not to that which I take pride in.
