[At first all that can be heard are quick footsteps. She's running along the street, turning a couple more corners before she finally speaks.]

Has anyone seen a small dog around house twelve? He's dark in color and appears to be a few months old?

He may also be a she. But you'll know him if you see him.

[ Something is barking at him.

He's just trying to catch a nap on the asphalt in a nearby parking lot and along comes this little dog. He lifts his head to give the dog a look over before snorting smoke. It has a scarf of some sort that it was likely carrying in its mouth before it started barking at him. That probably means it belongs to someone.

He just rumbles a noise back at the noisy little dog, waiting for its owner to catch up or realize it's missing. ]

[She stops, even holds her breath as she listens. Was that a bark?

That was definitely a bark!

She hurries in that direction, and before long the little dragon will have even more interrupting his nap. Naoto spots him first, and for a moment mistakes him for the puppy itself. But then...]

What...?

[Naoto trails off, tilting her head to the side for a better look. You just don't see napping dragons in parking lots where she's from.]

[ Ladon lifts his head at the woman, grunts a little. The puppy is continuing to bark at him, though now it looks torn between running off with the scarf again. He sits up, then cranes his neck to pluck up the puppy by its scruff. He sets the wriggling dog in front of the human, then sits back on his haunches. He nudges the puppy towards her with his snout.

Take this, please. :| It's noisy. ]

[She gives a glance to the puppy, a bit odd since she'd been obsessed with finding it just moments ago. But Naoto eventually moves towards it, scooping both animal and ragged accessory up off the ground.

Her eyes, notably, never leave the dragon.]

Do you know anything about dogs? I've been picking up bits and pieces of information along the way. I thought it might help...narrow things down.
