I'm hoping it means they got home. The last we heard out of Genero wasn't anything about kidnapping, or warnings, though...

I've walked up and down the beach 5 or 6 times.... I can't find the boat and I haven't seen anyone who has. We could dream up a boat, I guess, but I'm not sure where the island is, exactly.

[Shiro makes a low whining noise. He's just as distraught as Ichigo, maybe more, and has no good way of hiding it]

[Byakuya offers no words of comfort or encouragement, for they'd be empty anyway. That isn't his strong point. And normally, he doesn't worry about people leaving, considering he knows very few, at all. But Lioriley is a friend of Rukia's and she did help heal him during that event.

Maybe he'll just call it curiosity when he activates the tracking kidou before replying to Ichigo. But finds nothing.]

I can sense no trace of her here.

[ Yeah, Ichigo already knew in his heart she was gone. But some small selfish part of him did hold out hope that it was just another misunderstanding. That any minute Ace, or Veles, or John, or Tavros would pop up, and tell them they were being silly, and everything was perfectly fine. ]

Listen, it's looking like a lot of people just disappeared en masse. I know some of them were sent home, but I don't know some personally or anything. If you could keep your PORTAL on, and listen, it would help a lot?

I passed by on the way to the clearing ... but it was ... empty, felt weird. If something happened outside that, I'm sure Tony would've left us a note or some sort of encryption or something.

Yeah, it's the same with the clearing. It was the same with the shop after Kanji went home. It's like these places aren't really here anymore. Not...I don't know. Solid.
