[There are always other futures, one where she saw Karkat and Terezi's dead bodies in pools of blood but she doesn't know about that one. But to her they're dead. They're dead because she didn't stop Jack like she was supposed to.
Because he's here. He's here, he found them and he killed them all and she couldn't stop him and now he'll look for John and by extension John's friends.]

[Terezi probably isn't a good choice to be out here. She stabbed Vriska trying to stop this once and then she went and fucking died here meaning Vriska had to go lay down some spider vengeance on the snake with Asshole Coolkid and now in Vriska's mind, Terezi is dead. Again.
Because there is blood on Vriska, blood no one else can see unless the teneka is picking it up and some of it belongs to Terezi.
But Terezi better watch out. Almost anything could turn into Jack because it's all she sees around her, goddamn asshole fucking shitty Jack everywhere, waiting to get Vriska too.]

[She knows it's not a good idea. She knows that Vriska would probably want to see her the least out of any of the trolls right about now.
But Terezi also feels... she's not sure what to put it as. She'd say responsible, but it was something that had to be done, so why was she questioning it yet again? 'Her destiny,' as she had called it.
It was a shitty destiny, a totally improper way to fix a lot of what had gone wrong. Just a downright fucking stupid destiny, and if she could have avoided it, she would have, no questions asked.
Still, that feeling is there. And watching the spider troll fight against nothing almost breaks her heart right there. She knows why she's fighting- it's not because of her pride, but because all her friends are now dead in her eyes, and it's her fault. So Terezi lingers just outside of Vriska's reach, not wanting to step in and aggravate her, but not wanting to leave her alone by herself either.]

[At least Vriska doesn’t know yet that Terezi’s been back to stab her yet. That’d probably tip the scales more into her seeing Jack’s face right there as she keeps up her fight, Mindfang’s sword slicing at the air as Jack zips away faster than she can keep up with.

Vriska is always going to be mad about it because she was trying to do the right thing for once. She was trying to be good. She was strong and she was ready to fight Jack and either give you guys a fighting chance if he shanked her or beat him all so they wouldn’t die but oh no, Vriska can’t have nice things. Vriska got stuck with the spider lusus. Vriska got stuck not even knowing who she was, always trying to be Mindfang or be the kind of troll she was meant to be. Never what she wanted. She still doesn’t know that part yet.
Her mind is still going a mile a minute as she fights and that’s probably a bigger factor in everything in slowing her down. She’s second guessing herself, questioning everything too.]
