[ Geir is, for once, not wearing his veil; instead, he is mending it. While his mask is still covering one eye, the rest of his face is open. He doesn't give more than a moment for anyone to notice this, however, instead moving right into speaking, even as he sews. ]After the fey that ran wild and hearing stories, I am offering services. [ She's heard the word 'Fey' before, she knows it. But whatever, she just got up from like a three day nap. ]

Do you need any help crafting these for people?

[ The downside to having his veil off to fix it is that his expressions are more easily seen. While he isn't exactly an expressive man, there's still more to a twitch of his lips when it can be seen instead of when it is hidden, and in this case...

He has no idea what to make of her. ]

... I do not know, yet. You know how?

I've worked with runes and sigils before, I don't see why I couldn't.

What sort? And your magic... you do not look as one who would have a grimoire to pass, but as one who would be born with it, as a fairy or dragon would be.

Do they work?

I would not offer them if they did not.

You might. People do it all the time. Sell charms and things when all that's really powering them is superstition and faith.

Others would. I would not.

What would you want in exchange?

It depends on what is offered.

So you would be interested in trade.

[ He nods. ] The material or immaterial, it matters little.

[He recognises the veil from the first day of the darkness, but it's the offer that most interests him right now.]

You would give these things away so easily?

[ And he recognizes you, as well. ]

They are common, where I come from.

There is no cost, then.

I would not say no to a trade. [ Or earned goodwill from the others trapped here, for that matter. ]

[Elijah is sitting nearby, feet propped up on the table as he carves over and renews the sigils carved into his pistols. There's already an array of other weapons stacked next to him, freshly dreamed up; if they're ever caught in a situation like that again, he doesn't want to take any chances.]

You really lookin' to gain anything outta this, Geir?

[ Geir turns his head. ]

If there is anything to gain.

[ He looks away, then, frowning down at his PORTAL. ]

Contacts among the others, if nothing else.

Makes sense. [He sets the pistol aside and pauses for a moment, turning the athame over in his hands.] Only wonderin' 'cause of how many people you might get wantin' some.

So far it has just been questions and an offer to help. Nothing else.
