[Dean backed up into the room and left the door standing ajar so that she could step inside and shut it after her. Halfway into the room he pulled his gun from where he'd been hiding it and set it down on the coffee table before taking a seat at the foot of his bed.]

There's somethin' worse than torture? [Dean doesn't look so sure but he masks it by toeing off his boots because his feet hurt something awful from falling asleep with them laced.] Be honest, K, how long've I been dead weight?

[Dean's skeptical at that last bit, and chose not to reply to the first- it's still weird for him. He figures he should take a breath and just deal with it so he raises his brows and does just that.] Shoot.

[She shifts, a bit uncertain what to say, or how to say it, and bites her lip. A response comes out a minute later, after mulling out how to say this properly.]

If... if something happens, Dean, I don't know what I'd do-- something that I can't control. You know what I am. You know what can happen, too.

If something happens, and I'm responsible... where I lose myself, somehow... take care of me. Like a hunter does. Make it a promise that you'll do that for me.

[For once, Krypta doesn't end the question with a plea. It's more like a demand, that he kill her if she ever loses herself, or if her demon side goes nuts and she can't control it. He knows what to do, and he knows he'd ask her to do the same, if he was in her position. She'd rather die than hurt anyone or kill them.]
