[When Vanille's PORTAL turns on, it does so without her meaning to. The silly thing has fallen out of her little skirt pouch and is broadcasting a lot of noise without her knowledge. In fact, the PORTAL almost gets an up the skirt shot but then she's moving and there are a lot of possibly very misleading noises.]

This is Hecaton, my eidolon - he helps me out in really tight spots and keeps me safe when I need him. I guess he probably looks scary with all the arms and those big guns.

He's more than a friend. For us, where I'm from, an eidolon shows up when you're trying to complete your Focus - you have to fight it, to decide if you want to keep going by defeating it or if you want to give up. If you give up, it kills you and so you die meaning you can't complete your Focus.
