If by normal you mean 'fancy'.

Fancy? It suits me. Not like I really had a choice in the whole naming process, though. But you could be a part of that party too, right, Bowen Arrow?

......

I think I like you guys already.

[Pranking Genero? +10 in her books. Talking about him being a tightass? Another +10 or so. :3]

[A chuckle at that. They prank him all the time. It's a hobby of theirs.]

Glad to know we amuse!

[And yet it hasn't done anything positive? Boo. :c]

Methinks the scientist is going to need more than a few pranks to get the stick out of his ass, though.

[Her, bitter, even after being gone for a year? Never.]

[Nope. :c Genero's frustrating like that.]

Oh, we've been pranking him for years now. He doesn't change, but it's fun to catch him off-guard.

Oh. Okay. Good to know the royal family's having such a good time.

A good time?

Well, comparatively. My time here hasn't exactly been pleasant, but you two seem perfectly happy.

It's kind of annoying.

...I'm sorry. [A pause as he thinks of what to say next.]

Is there anything we can do?

Yeah, like we fucking knew that. Shut the fuck up, you royal bastards. Don't expect us to know shit we've never been told!

But at least you hate that Genero bastard. That gives you a few points above yer parents.

[If you could see him, Fred is linefacing so hard. >:|] Your memories haven't come back yet?

He's annoying and he doesn't know how to have fun.

holeheart May 27 2011, 01:41:11 UTC
... No. What memories?

Tch. He also tortured my other half on public Portal. I'm still a little sore 'bout that!

The ones you had before going to sleep. You lived here.

Yeah, that-- Mom was pissed as anything. Dad was too. I don't think I've ever seen him that mad. At least in a long while.

How are we supposed to know?

You'll remember, in time. Everyone does. All of you have memories of being here, before you went to sleep.

If you're right... [If...] Then why did Genero get so angry? I know he's not all that nice, but... It's not our fault we don't remember. You'd think that instead of getting angry or just telling us "you'll remember," someone would try to help us remember.

We don't believe that this is where we've always been and this is where we belong because no one's tried to explain it to us. No one's tried sitting down and saying, "well, you don't remember yet, but I'll help you out until you do." They've just... gotten angry, or smiled and patted us on the head. I don't get it. Especially since the people on the streets know us by name and treat us like friends. Friends help each other, especially when they really need it. That's what they're for.

Why would we go to sleep and dream about a life that isn't real only to wake up and not remember our life before? I don't... get it.

The thing with Genero is that he expects everything to be perfect, no matter how long it takes or how long things have been happening for. When it doesn't meet his expectations, he gets angry.

I know. And I thought we were trying to help. I guess it wasn't enough. I'm sorry about that. [You can see he's not too happy hearing about this. :c He feels bad.] I know you'll probably think this is just a secondary reaction, but is there anything we can do to help? We want to see you happy and remembering everything here. Not confused and lost.

[A sigh, and a small sad smile at that.] It's how it's always happened. We can't seem to stop it, only try and explain when you wake up. The Unnatural is trying to find a way to make things better, but so far, they haven't been able to find anything that works.
