[What comes on the PORTAL isn’t something you see often- it’s the interior of the castle, and it’s one of the long and tall hallways that is frequently visited by the king and queen. In the middle are two figures who don’t fit the royalty’s height or caliber, but it’s not like that matters to them. You can hear their talking as the feed listens in.]
Honestly, it goes without saying that people really need to know they can’t imagine everything here, remember? Especially the newly awoken residents.
But they don’t, Frederick. That’s the thing. I don’t think people realize at all.
[It’s clear that it’s two young men talking, and one is blonde while the other has dark brown hair. The blonde grins and chuckles a little, throwing a snerk at the other.]
Well it’s not like we’re going to punch them in the face or something if they screw up, right?
[That’s met with a look of sincere doubt and a sheepish headscratch. A wry grin accompanies it and the dark haired boy speaks.]
I don’t think that’d look good for mom or dad... but, you know, there was that thing with cranky old Genero.
Oh right, Sourpuss with Glasses. It’s not like smiling will kill him.
It might. [Cue an exchanged eye-roll, though they’re both still grinning.]
Well, at least our last ‘intervention’ was successful. He really wasn’t expecting the weasel in his locker, was he?
You’d think he’d be used to it by now. Oh well, it’s good for him... or something like that. Speaking of weasels, though, what did you think about that ‘prank’ pulled by some of our new residents?
[There’s a sigh at this on Frederick’s end.] I kind of found it funny, but at the same time... mom and dad weren’t pleased. You know how they get when they’re mad, Mordicus.
Yeah. [Mordicus shakes his head.] The people who did it are lucky no one got hurt. It’s a good thing we can undo anything they do -- or, well, Team Labcoats can undo it. Genero would tell us that we aren’t allowed to be helpful.
[Arms go up in the air slightly at this, and Frederick lets out a snort in annoyance.] Right. Because clearly, his way is best.
[There’s a snort at that as Mordicus opens his mouth, likely to complain about Genero some more, but something catches his eye. Tilting his head, he looks directly at the PORTAL before nudging his brother.] Hey Frederick, did you know the PORTAL’s on?
Wha- [A snap of the head, and then Frederick starts grinning as he notices too.] Oh, so it is. Did you turn it on while I wasn’t looking, Mordy?
No. And don’t call me that, Fred. [Despite his apparent annoyance at the nickname, the dark haired boy also grins at the PORTAL and waves.]
What? It’s your name, after all! Something wrong with it, Mordy? [Now you can tell he’s doing it on purpose to annoy him, before giving a wink to the camera and waving as well.]
Oh, shut up.
Mordy Mordy Mordy Mordyyyyyyyy. It’s not that bad a name if you’re attending a funeral, you know! Mom and Dad have some taste, after all.
[There’s a glare at that before Mordicus grins and quickly moves to catch his brother in a headlock and noogie him.]
H-hey! I didn’t say you could make me stop making fun of you yet! C’mon, cut it out! [Frederick counters by twisting his head and pulling out of the headlock- only to tackle his brother to the floor in a game of strength and wits.
The feed cuts off.]
[[Meet the King and Queen’s sons. 83 Bold is Mordicus and plain text is Frederick. Also, the boys will be threadjacking everywhere in this post. Just for clarification.]
