Well, I only do it once a year, so I don't know about all the people who go to EVERY con! They are insane! I wish I could do that lol but I can't so I settle for going all out for 1 a year.
My mom and I got together, as a sort of mother/daughter time. Which I think I told you that at one time. So yup. That's my answer. Along with wanting to meet the guys and everything, of course! :D
Yeah, i just don't get it. Its SOOOO much money. I know it's fun and i love it but damn. I actually want to save some money in the future and not fuck up my non existent credit.
I love that you do that with your momma. She's an awesome woman and i would love to get a change to meet her again :D
It is so expensive! Because not only do you have the Con stuff to pay for, but you have traveling fees and hotel costs. So it totally adds up very fast!

I'm starting to get my sister into Supernatural too. And it's funny cause she has 2 kids and last night she was texting me through the show, "Ouch! OH SNAP! Tear...." LOL It was so funny! She also said this season looks like it's going to be awesome and that was her favorite episode. (She hasn't seen all the other though lol)
I don't go to all of them, but I have been to a bunch in the last few years. But before that, it'd been a while since I'd done much traveling, so I'd saved up some money. Also helps that I'm older, with a good job and don't have that many bills. Most of my stuff is paid for. I don't understand multiple photo ops with one actor at the same con, though I've done photo ops with the boys at each con. Not that anyone but me will ever see them

Well I agree with you. It's lots of money and I really don't get how so many people can go there, buy 10 and more photo ops, maybe also have to pay for the flisht etc.
I WOULD have the money for going to an international con (since I don't plan to attend an Asylum again) but honestly, when I think what I could do with all that money onstead of going to a con...I really wish I would get my Padahug one day but I'm not willing to spend about 1000$ for it. My other dream is to go on a roadtrip in the USA. Guess I save my money for that!
Yeah, i just don't get it. It baffles me. The only thing that is scary is that they see nothing wrong with it. That they're going into debt or spending all their savings and they're still going to these.
I could never attend every single con either. But I love the photo ops, with all the guests, so I always save up for that. I sort of love that part of cons. But it's meeting other fans and my friends from LJ that I otherwise might not etc. And for me, it's also getting to see a new place. (Well, Birmingham twice wasn't very exciting. ;)) But LA was a dream for me so that's why I wanted to attend a con there.

Maybe it's just be being frugal but my momma raised me right. I don't spend money like that and even if i had it, my impulse might make me wants to do it but i won't do it cause i know how much money that really is.
I would just get a general ticket and then save for the photo ops :D
It's the only show I'd do this for. :) It just gives me so much great experiences and it's some of the most fun I've ever have. It's easy to go back and do it again because of that. :)
I hope I get to see you there too. Which should decide where to meet up, in that case. :)
