Ah, the American and his friends the twins. They really are almost like two sides of the same coin. This makes me want to watch both episodes now :D thanks
It was eerie how alike they looked back then, wasn't it?
But such a fun episode! At least, the beginning and the end, with a smattering in between. No matter what their relationship was at the time, they worked very well together in this ep.
Yes they did. In my imaginings, Illya and Marion got together for a bit after Quadrapartite, and then again after Giuoco Piano. As in real life, not everything lasts.
Though there is a lot of really crisp dialogue in this episode, I never liked the premise. Why would Ravel and her boy toy be so incredibly stupid as to go after Marion, who is no longer a threat to them at this point and has nothing they want? Certainly both villains were smart enough to see right through this as a ploy by U.N.C.L.E. to get their attention.
Oh, admittedly, the plot has its weak points (as did most of the eps, sadly), but I can accept that they would go after Marion as a way to get to Napoleon, have leverage over him due to his commitment to protect innocents. And while they certainly were smart enough, they also, especially Gervaise, have more than a touch of hubris.

There is definitely chemistry between David and Jill. It works well in this ep. They work well together (until 'Tigers') in MFU season one.
Scroll further down and we find some delish holster!!Porn.
Not to forget our dear Napoleon; I am always impressed and highly entertained by the range of facial expressions we get from him.

RV does have a very mobile face, doesn't he? Works well for those little semi-comedic moments.
