Getting online at my mom's means using dialup. The PC is very much Bro's territory, so what I do is put my laptop on the floor, get a cushion to make me comfortable, hook the phone cable to the laptop, then lie down on my stomach, legs crossed at the ankles

Awwwwww.... I love kitties. I have a cranky grandma kitty (she's thirteen) and a younger sweet little boy kitty (around two). They're adorable creatures, aren't they.

See, I think we all should have cats (unless we happen to be terribly allergic, in which having a cat wouldn't really be any good).

We have a cat, but unfortunately he has never, and never will, sit on my lap, back or anywhere else. He was never picked up and cuddled as a kitten, and by the time my son got him, he had already adopted a "do not pick up" attitude. However, he has still smooched his way into our hearts with his antics. He regularly "tells" my husband that he must go to bed. As soon as my husband stands up, (whether he is going to bed, or otherwise), the cat magically appears out of nowhere, ready to escort him to bed! I would miss him if he weren't around.
