Zexion, if you please.

Never much use till they arrive in such a fashion, a message from dreams that echo with the destinies that do haunt our own.

Just Zexion is fine, thank you.

It would seem that our fate is shared, that the card-play was in fact a message not intended for the eyes we saw through, but all of us.

Indeed. He never seems to stay around for long whenever he is here. Still, it is unfortunate that Lexaeus had to up and vanish.

I agree, and yet I am surprised that he has not spoken up about it. Xemnas has yet to actually schedule a gathering, has he?

Believe me, I am already looking into it. I must admit, she intrigues me.

The lack of Lexaeus' presence is regrettable, unfortunate. I'd certainly swap Braig to have him back, any day.

I'm...really not sure what Xemnas is doing. He seems to have set attentions on the newer Keybearers, by my last notice.

Ask politely around her fellowship, I should think...unless you'd rather insist on a direct hand in her work.

...speaking of projects, I feel obliged to remind you again that the Replica's complications require further and closer observation. Particularly the matter of Xion.

Agreed. I cannot help but be annoyed at his presence here...

I've been meaning to ask you. What are your thoughts on their appearance?

There is no need to rush it along.

Ah, yes. Xion... She had been progressing so well...

Lexaeus was at least reliable...and not so prone to wild carding on us.

Ventus and Aqua? I believe the connection of Terra's heart has called them, much as Sora and Riku have come and gone...much as collective others from other worlds have arrived. I could not say why now, rather than before. And Roxas, the connection to Roxas is obviously worth consideration.

True, that there are more matters pressing to attend to.

Do you suspect her influence may destabilize the second?

I don't mind helping out at the bathhouse now and again.

I don't know a lot about tarot cards. Do they mean anything to you?

The Tower and the Wheel of Fate are standard to most decks. The Five of Swords is typicially depicted a little differently.

The other four are...wholly unique to my reckoning, but symbolic of something, I suppose.

According to the literature I've been able to pull up, The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. No card scares a Tarot reader like the Tower. It is however one of the clearest cards when it comes to meaning. False structures, false institutions, false beliefs are going to come tumbling down, suddenly, violently and all at once.

Of course...if it represents The Dark Tower, than a falling tower is probably the very last thing we want.

The final card, The Wheel of Fate, usually represents a good turn of luck. However, it may also simply remind us that we cycle in our destinies.

This falls well within your expertise, I should think?

It does, but since when was a scientist, such as yourself, interested in such mystic and occult things?

If you must know, I've been recording what I can of the dreams from memory for months now...trying to puzzle out patterns.

'Scientist' is only a vocation, and such a narrow one to place at the forefront of who we are. And it isn't as if I fell into that apprenticeship strictly by matter of choice...

But I digress. Your thoughts.
