Torchwood...A season finale so pointless it rivals QaF & Enterprise!

This is my second rant is as many days concerning Torchwood & if you don't want to "hear" me bitching & moaning and ranting & raving about how much RTD and TW suck ass, leave now. There are MAJOR SPOILERS ahead for Torchwood: Children of Earth episodes 1-5.

I agree why wast my money;however if you look at his characters they are flat and not very well rounded. Individuals in Fandom have done more to round out his characters than he has.

Could not agree with you MORE! My bigges problem with Russell T. Davies is that he doesn't know how to actually accomplish character development and he doesn't give the characters time to grow before he either kills them off.

This season's entire premise was weak and the resolution was something that Torchwood should have figured out on day 1. However, RTD had these goals he wanted to accomplish (wiping the slate clean so he could start fresh with newer, shinier characters if they get a new season) so the show had to be dumbed down & the audience had to be treated like we're morons.

Even my 14 year old son found the end lame and contrived.
