Don't even...

Employers make about 300% profit (at least) from hiring illegal aliens. Maybe if these "poor elitest employers" would pay laborers fair wages, then maybe Americans would take the jobs. -And don't try and tell me that the savings get passed onto the consumers. Just look at what's happening with China. Those greedy corporate bastards are making a killing! If they can have slave labor working for ten cents a day, then I should be able to pay ten cents for a bottle of wine here in in the states.

I'm just too angry for sob stories right now.

Sorry let me clarify. If the employer pays wages that would entice US citizens to come work the fields do you think that they employer would bear the increased labor costs and let their profit suffer or would they pass the increased labor costs on to the consumer?

"BUT... it will force the employers to start hiring LEGAL American citizens at REAL wages."

True but it will also increase the cost of goods. How much more are you willing to pay?

Fair enough though unless you think the food quality is different if it's picked by Americans you'll be getting the same quality. Anyway, how much more are you willing to pay for food? 50% more?
