Tornadoes

Total weirdness here. A tornado in Oregon? And really not all that far from Portland. So, we just had a lovely thunderstorm and there are trees down and shit like that. But not at my house. Mr. Ilke sat on our porch (after the crazy dirt-wind passed) and watched the rain and lightning. Lovely.

A BREAK! Yes! Ideally, I'd love to take 3 months, but at a minimum I will take 6 weeks. And Mr. Ilke will take the first 2 weeks off with me.

I'm glad that you had a good picture in your mind of the kiss. lol. I can't help it! I totally thinking about that all the time. *iz a dork*

It is nice to see a face to you. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Also the visual of CH. I cannot wait for more it. I have a feeling that you will enjoy very much your pregnancy, again I could be wrong especially if you go through a normal delivery. I had a c-section so I was down for the entire procedure. I had to be under completely for both my sake and the baby's. All pregnancies are different so there are no two alike.

Oh wow, I really like that pic you found as an example for that particular approach to the grab-and-kiss (lol). That's actually really hot and kind of cute. I definitely wouldn't have been able to visualize that without help, so thanks for posting the pic! Aww, now I want facegrab smooches!

It is so weird how you can appear bigger but lose weight. I guess your weight's just being redistributed in weird ways? You've ensured that if/when I ever get pregnant (hopefully many years from now), I'll think "Man, ilke was totally right about ____."

Did you see the picture mmmels drew for that kiss? It was gorgeous. Nice to hear from you! I've been so out of touch lately. Congrats on your engagement. I seriously think you need to take pics of the dress in the window and post em! I had mine made for me too and it was really special! Have you guys set the date?

Damnit, I totally commented on someone else's comment by accident, didn't I? Grr. Apparently I am not yet an LJ pro.

I do recall some very pretty art, so maybe I'll go back and look at it.

Thank you! The dress is no longer in the window, but I do think I may start taking pics of the fitting process and the prototype if the seamstress will allow me to. It's her art, after all. I'll put you on the list of people who can read the exclusive wedding posts once I start doing them. The date is mostly set (waiting to book the church officially after they okayed the date) and it's next Spring. I'll put the actual date in one of those wedding posts. Even though we've only been engaged for a couple weeks a ton of planning has already transpired thanks to my excitement and my mom's efficiency. But it's just as well that we get a head start now because my fiancee and I both have to apply for grad schools by December, and we have a lot of work to do on that front as well.

Show us the table when it's done!

CONGRATS on ALL that work!!! WOW!!! But don't work too hard (for the little one's sake you need your rest).

It IS weird that you have technically lost weight when it the pregnancy pic looks like you have gained weight in your breasts and tummy. I guess that you have lost weight in other areas that have caused the difference. You look lovely in both pics, and I WISH you and the little one continued GOOD health. :)
