Okay, I'm distracted. Thus, posting again.

pokeystar sent me a great Claiming Hermione inspiration song, and a long time ago I was sent another song by Soft I think that rocked. Unfortunately, i lost that one.

So, here is my plan for Claiming Hermione beyond the writing. When the story is finished I plan to put together a sort of CH package. I don't know ( Read more... )

I was just listening too this again, and I realized that it is very much like the song that breenieweenie was going to use for the trailer. Caramel by Suzanne Vega. :) lovely

OK so first I just want to say I love your story :D
Second, I think this is a very interesting idea and I like it ;)
Third, this is my first song idea, and I will post others later :D.

Thoughts: When I first came across this song about a year ago it was actually playing in the background to a video of Hermione and Draco so I've just always had that image in my head of them associated with this song.
Chapter/Scene Association: I'm not really sure on which chapter yet, but I just feel like this song could fit somewhere...and I just really like the song lol.

Oh MAN! I LOVE Elliot Smith! Why don't I OWN any???? I love the sound of this song for CH. "waiting to finally be caught" .... I like where you've placed it too. But I might have an even better place. But alas, it hasn't been written yet! lol. Gah! I love this. I think I'll be running out to buy a bunch of ES immediately!

I agree that the guitar is so haunting in the Jose Gonzales song. I've certainly heard of him, but this is the first opportunity I've to hear him. I love these lyrics: we need hints (boy does Draco need some hints from Hermione! Hermione too for that matter!) And "before we loose pace" .... love it. Great placement too.

Thanks! It is from the graphic that I made for the banner. I agree - the dominant way he is holding her is so.... hot! Thus why I used it for CH. Hmmm....maybe I should figure out how to use the animated fairy light version for the icon too....

I like it! It certainly fits with the idea of finding your way - and that is totally what Draco and Hermione are trying to do - muddle through uncharted territory. Hmmm..... that might be a good title for the next chapter.
