Thanks for reminding me--I've totally been slacking on my answers to reviews!

Good luck with all the things you have to do! We are all eagerly awaiting the new chapter!

Thanks darlin! Been wondering where you were off to. Are you home from your parents? Were you so sad that you missed the snow? lol.

Yeah I've been at my parents' for over two weeks now and I'll be back tomorrow night. I actually got to see the biggest part of the snow in the week before I left: walked to work in it and everything! But I am really eager to get back and catch some more cold weather.

I'm also very excited because I may get to post another chapter of L&O today! All this vacation has made me very motivated to write and I'm already starting on the chapter after this one. What's wrong with me? Lol.

*packs up hubby and dog to move and apply for ilkee's assistant*! Get that money mama! Go "Goodfellas" on 'em, "Fuck you, pay me!" ;)

Why do I suspect that if you were my assistant, we'd never get any work done at all? *G*

Nuh-uh, I'm all organized business when it comes to EVERYBODY else's stuff! I'd be all, "Mrs. Ilke, you have your grocery order due to arrive at noon, I've picked up your dry cleaning, and placed it in your hall closet for disembersment, you have a conference call at 2, here is today's mail, and I've recieved several more calls from the neighbors about Mr. Ilke's ever expanding punk snow orgy. Seems he's setting off a "snow trend" with the local teenagers! Will that be all Miss?" See, pro-fess-i-nal!

You don't need an assistant, you need a staff!

Very ambitious lists, but I have no doubt you will have check marks next to everything in short order!

lol. you're right. I do need a staff! No wonder I feel so overwhelmed. And here I was thinking that I was just not doing something right. Maybe you could send your Polish cleaning crew over. *notices that cleaning isn't even on the list *sigh**

Okay, back to work so I can cross that shit off! :)

Wow. I'm tired now. Reading that list is exhausting. Off to make more tea...

Oh, and dinner: Asparagus with poached eggs, drizzled with a balsamic vinegar-reduction and topped with shaved parmesan. Yum. Easy.

Oooh great dinner! I love balsamic reduction. and asparagus. Think it would work with hard-boiled eggs? I don't know how/am not good at poaching. Wait? Is asparagus and eggs enough for dinner? maybe I need a whole grain? Or some nice crutsy bread with Irish Butter. okay, enough distracting food talk. (And send me any food inspirations whenever you want. I likes the way you think (eat?). :)

Bake the asparagus in the oven, about ten minutes, sprinkled with sea salt. Meanwhile, make your balsamic reduction with some brown sugar. Heat water in a pan with a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar, when it's good and steaming, carefully drop in your eggs (we do two a person for this dish).

Serve the eggs on top of the asparagus, drizzle balsamic reduction, and add a little shaved parmesan cheese. Crusty bread with butter on the side -- voila! And then you can have ice cream for dessert and not feel bad.

This is one of my all time fave dinners. Sounds odd, the eggs and all that, but wait until you taste it... Heaven.

It really is a lot of stuff. And the list doesn't reflect the three 12-14 hour days I've put in on projects. Well, maybe it does reflect it in the number of items that aren't crossed off.

I'm glad you know what I mean about being afraid. And of course you are right. I keep trying to tell myself that it doesn't have to be the most awe-inspiring thing in the world. It IS just fanfiction after all. lol. Motto: Just Write!

And it is well over half way written. I've gotten through the hard parts. Hey...do the sex parts ever get hard for you?

I wanted to meet those expectations and exceed them, while remaining authentic to what I wanted to see for the characters.EXACTLY! That is exactly what I am going through ( ... )
