You know about my company merging with another company and how I have a job til the (quickly approaching) end of the year. And the new company wants me, but the scenario seems to be a bit different (contracting vs. employee). So, I'm in this position of feeling like I need to prove myself to them. Any projects I work

Yes, I understand about the grandparents. My grandmother has alzheimers. That's one of the main reasons we're going. I need to see them in person. *sigh*

You will be missed, but it's important to take care of the priorities first. The time will fly by anyway, cause it sounds like you're going to be crazy busy, and the money will make it all worthwhile. And I'll admit I'm selfish - I'm bummed about no updates to CH for the time being, but it'll be so worth it when you finally can get back to it.

And I hope your grandfather's feeling better. It's good he's coming home tomorrow, sometimes being home is the best medicine.
