I grew up learning to be more afraid of snakes than spiders. Then moving up to Seattle, it turns out it's the other way around.
My boss at Old Navy was bitten by a Brown Recluse and they found a whole nest in the Men's bathroom.
Things so small have no right to be so dangerous.

But, yeah, Black Widows (5% chance of death) are much worse than Brown Recluses (1.5% chance of death). And the Recluse thing where your skin will melt off is actually really rare.

I have some kind of bug bite on my eyebrow (not a mosquito) and it's probably a spider bite... ugh.
But if I ever EVER found one of those in my house I'd probably leave or call someone else to take care of it because no way am I gonna try to get rid of it...
