Hopefully, November will be a better month than October. October comprised of a female encounter with a terrible outcome, a bad trip and an unexpected betrayel. I feel like I'm working to much, I need to attend to my schoolwork that I've been neglecting and on top of all this I'm going to be sober for the next three months.. I could really use a ( Read more... )

I don't know about having any good advice or anything, since we didn't really keep in touch and stuff, but as long as you don't let your parents eff up your FAFSA forms (like me) and not double check them (like me) you can get all the money you really need for school. Don't go to IU if you think it will limit you or if it just doesn't interest you. Regret isn't any fun.... and you still have time to look at other places.

I probabaly just say that because, as nice as it is to be able to find everyone in one spot, I think most people who have lived here their whole life would benefit from leaving town for college.

So... yeah. I don't want to say much more than that because I don't know the specifics of what's been going on with you for the most part. I wish you the best though, and if you've found a close group of friends, I am happy for you, even it gets a little redundant and mundane with 'em.

Well...
I always thought I would NEVER go IU either. Whenever someone asked me "Where are you going for college?" my reply would always be, "Anywhere but IU!"
Still, as the time to apply grew closer and closer, and I was actually forced to think about it, I realized I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. There's something about the campus that I really love, and I'm glad I went afterall. Additionally, we all make fun of IU, but the truth is, it really IS not a bad school. In a lot of regards, it's a pretty damn good one. So you shouldn't feel bad about going to IU. And really, if you can't wait to escape, it's only four years at the most. :)

I have no advice to offer you but send all my love and happy thoughts your way. I'm always around for hugs if you need me, little one. Much love.

I told myself that I was never gonna do LJ again. That's why I deleted it. But I came across your post and couldn't resist making a comment.. hehe.

Alex, I agree. I've sort of gotten this feeling that you've been neglecting your friendships with certain people *hint hint ;P

Hey, but if you've found your niche, that's good. And if hanging out with those people bring you joy, I don't think you should feel obligated to hang out with your other friends. Of course, you have to weigh this joy with how much freedom you have to be your true self with these people ( ... )
